Jackets, sweatshirts, pants, and long sleeved shirts now fill our closets and drawers. Pumpkins and leaves decorate our house inside and out. Pumpkin bread, pumpkin cream cheese, and kettle corn are our favorite fall treats. Halloween books filled with ghosts, goblins, and skeletons are our current nighttime stories. Much talk of our Halloween costumes (waiting for delivery), and the boys can't wait to try them on! Discussions that candy is not a part of the 5 food groups. Big decisions of which football game or baseball game to watch on tv (by Jay, of course!). Visits to the Balloon Fiesta, pumpkin patches, Halloween parades, and Trick or Treat on Main Street make up our month. A little darker earlier, a little cooler, and a season filled with excitement!
