So...this year there was no talking Jaxson or Maddy (I was hoping maybe I could still convince Maddy) into being something cute, cuddly, or fury! So, if you have a little one enjoy dressing them up and picking out their costumes for the first three years. After three years your parent costume rights are no longer active, they are void! Action hero costumes are now in order for this Halloween forward. Jaxson is long past the cute costume days. In fact, he really wanted to be a football player that was bloody and looked scary. So...considering what they could of have been, I was happy! It is the one day they get to pick out and dress up as whatever they want. I know kids don't dress up forever : (. On Friday we had our school parties, costume parades, and trick or treated on Main Street. Saturday we went to Auntie Lauren's first annual Halloween party. On Sunday we hit our neighborhood street and trick or treated. Let's just say we have enough sugar to last a lifetime! I was informed that super heroes LOVE candy, so we had to hide it and take it to work. We had a fun Halloween weekend!
