Goodness, this year flew by so fast! Jaxson is now a big 3rd grader! Next year I will get to teach Jaxson. He will not be in my homeroom class, but I will teach him for a few subjects. Third grade is when they start switching classes.
Jaxson had a school year filled with many accomplishments and firsts. He learned so many things; new vocabulary, he read more difficult chapter books, learned to multiply, began cursive, and started the gifted program at school. His after school activities and sports kept us running all week. Jaxson continued with Cub Scouts. He is now a Bear Scout. Jaxson continued with his religious education classes and he will be making his first communion next year. He played soccer, basketball, and baseball. Jaxson started pitching for his Minors A baseball team. He also went skiing for the first time. Jax got even speedier on his iceskates too. He expanded his food staples, a little. He finally started eating steak and mashpotatoes. Boy, had he been missing out on some yummy meals! He grew out of his size 7 jeans length wise. He prefers certain brands/styles of clothes. Gymboree is not so cool to wear to school anymore. : ( He even found a cute little crush! He grew physically and emotionally in so many ways this year. He is still my little boy, but he would not want me to refer to him as little. Jax has such a fun sense of humor, is charming, kind hearted, and still loves to hug on his mommy. Life is good!
