Chats with Maddy

Maddy has the best teacher ever, Mrs.Sam.  And I love how she shares her "Maddy Moments" with us during the school days.  They always make us laugh!  He is not only a character at home, but at school too!

Mrs. Sam: "Is there an edge of the world?"

Maddy:  "No, that's silly!"

Mrs.Sam: "How is it silly?"  "You mean there really isn't an edge of the world?"

Maddox: "No!"

Mrs.Sam: "Why do you think that is?"

Maddox: "Duh! You'd fall off if there was an edge!"

Maddox was helping Mrs.Sam make her shopping list...according to him she should buy steak for dinner, steak for lunch, & steak for dinner again! She wrote, "I take it he is a meat and potato guy?!"

Mrs.Sam asked the kids what they thought their parents did for a job? Maddox answered, "My mom climbs trees for a job." "My dad does too!"

Maddy: "Mrs.Sam, is there any volcanoes around here?"

Mrs.Sam:  "Why yes, I live close to one." (Mrs.Sam lives in the Jemez near the Valles Caldera)

Maddy:  "Wow, has it gone off?"

Mrs.Sam:  "Not for millions and millions of years, long before any man was on earth."

Maddy:  "Wow, were you there?" "Did you see it?"

Mrs.Sam wrote: "Wow, I didn't think I was that old!!!"
