The week before school started Maddy helped me get fruit washed up for our school lunches. He was such a great little helper. He pulled the grapes of the vines and "threw" them in the strainer, literally. He also helped washed the strawberries and ate the biggest ones first. The little things in life make the everyday tasks fun! Maddy ate more than he washed, of course!

The next day the boys and I made brownies. Everything went smoothly in the kitchen and they each took turns mixing in the ingredients. Until...Maddy dropped the WHOLE carton of a dozen eggs on the kitchen floor! What a mess! Maddy said, "Sorry, Mommy." How could I stay mad?
