Today, Maddy earned his Sizzy Readers at school! He was so excited and proud!  He even got to call me at school and deliver the exciting news.  He has been working hard at school on phonics.  At home we have been working for weeks on his sight words: has, a, the, of, and, in, to, is, on, & are.  After Christmas, we switched Maddy to Ponderosa Montessori and we could not be more pleased.  We love Mrs. Sam, Ms. Jen, & Mr. Mosier!  I can't believe how much he has grown in the last 4 months because of his positive environment.  Maddy will be home for the summer with me.  Together we will work on his reading, his numbers, and writing and spelling his name.  We still have a full year to prepare for kindergarten and I know it will fly by!
