Ready for the Sandlot!

White Rock's Little League opening day of baseball was this past Saturday.  This year Jaxson is playing Minors "A" baseball, which is kid pitch.  He tried out, went through the draft, and made the Washington Nationals team (I know, sounds so professional and grown up).  Maddy is playing his FIRST year of T-ball, finally! He is playing for the White Rock Warriors.  A perfect team name for my little warrior!  He was so excited to get his uniform!  He even got to pick out his very own black and red batting helmet. The joys of sports accessories for Maddy!  Our month of May will be filled with a lot of games, practices, and as always gusting mile per hour winds.  After all, it is baseball season in New Mexico! 

P.S.  Sunflower seeds are now a part of the major food group at our house.  The boys love them!  I personally don't like them.  Maddox actually gives up his love for chewing gum to chew seeds.  He loves the pickle flavored sunflower seeds best. Who would eat that crazy flavor?!? Only Maddox.
